Footnotes for the Nest marketing site and notices that apply to the figures the product shows: where the numbers come from, what is illustrative versus what is real, which integrations are bring-your-own, and the typography and art licenses behind the design. The platform is governed by the Terms of Service, and disputes about this page are resolved under the Terms (individual arbitration, class and jury waiver, Michigan law). If this page and the Terms conflict, the Terms control.

Regulatory status

Nest is not a broker-dealer and is not registered with FINRA or the SEC. Nest is software for licensed insurance agents, sold by Mule Digital LLC for a flat software fee. It is not an insurance producer, agency, broker, carrier, or investment adviser, it does not sell, solicit, or negotiate insurance or securities, and it receives no commission or other compensation tied to any application, policy, premium, or sale. It does not give investment, tax, insurance, or legal advice, and it does not make or approve any recommendation to a consumer.

Rates, calculators, projections, compliance records and AI output

Rate tables. Rates are as of the import date, entered or imported by the agent, and not verified by Nest. They are subject to change, may differ by state, premium band and age, and are not guaranteed until the contract is issued. Verify with the carrier before use.

Calculators. Results are estimates only, based on the agent's inputs or imported rate sheet. They are not tax, legal or investment advice. Confirm with the insurer before use. The RMD tool is an estimate based on IRS uniform lifetime table assumptions and is not tax advice; confirm with a tax professional.

Projections. HYPOTHETICAL PROJECTION, NOT AN INSURER ILLUSTRATION. Projections, ladders, income studies and comparisons are produced by the agent using Nest software. They are not prepared, authorized, or approved by any insurer, and are not the illustration required for an application. Only the insurer's official illustration and disclosure document describes a contract. Non-guaranteed values may be lower than shown.

Compliance records. Best-interest, suitability and replacement worksheets and exported records are a documentation aid only. Nest does not make, review, or approve recommendations and does not determine suitability or best interest. The licensed producer makes that determination and is responsible for the record. A record marked complete means its fields are filled in, not that it is approved or compliant.

AI output. AI drafts must be reviewed before sending. The agent is responsible for the content and for obtaining any carrier advertising approval before using a draft as marketing. AI output can be wrong or made up.

The Terms of Service (Sections 5, 7, 14 and 15) set out the agent's responsibility to verify every figure and the limits that apply if information is displayed incorrectly.

Carrier display

Carrier names on this site are listed typographically. Carrier logos appear with written permission only, and the absence of a logo is not an opinion of the carrier.

Nest does not host a carrier roster on the marketing site. Agents bring their own carrier appointments into the platform. The carrier feeds and rate rows visible in dashboard mockups are illustrative until the agent links their own carrier accounts inside the product.

Production figures and Numbers methodology

The headline figures on the home page and on /numbers are counts of product capabilities, not performance averages. They break down as follows:

  • 5+ tools replaced under one login. Counts CRM, email marketing, AI copy, license tracker, calendar, and the document vault as discrete categories an agent would otherwise license separately.
  • One BYO integration live today. Salesforce is live. DocuSign, NIPR, AHIP, and carrier feeds are coming soon. The exact list is on /integrations.
  • 256-bit document vault encryption. Refers to AES-256-GCM encryption of vault documents before storage, plus an audit log of downloads and changes. Data access for signed-in users is scoped to the user’s organization and role in application code.

Sample data and screenshots

Dashboard mockups on /platform, /studio, and elsewhere are illustrative. The names, premiums, policy IDs, AHIP statuses, and comp ledger rows you see are synthetic and were generated for the marketing site. No real client or agent data is rendered on any marketing-site page.

AI Studio outputs

The AI Studio drafts mailers, audience filters, and email rewrites. Every output is a draft the agent reviews. Unless the agent turns on an automation setting, nothing sends without an explicit user action inside the product. The agent owns compliance review for outbound communications, including TCPA, CAN-SPAM, state DOI advertising rules, and any carrier-specific advertising approvals. Nest does not pre-clear AI-generated copy on the agent's behalf.

Encryption and data handling

Documents in the vault are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage. Security-relevant actions, such as document downloads and record changes, are logged in an audit trail. Agencies can export their data as CSV from the product with a single click. Nest does not aggregate client data across orgs and does not sell client information.

Third-party integrations

Nest is the connector; the integrations are bring-your-own. Agents provide their own accounts with each of the following vendors:

  • Salesforce (live)
  • DocuSign (e-sign), coming soon
  • NIPR (license verification), coming soon
  • AHIP (Medicare certification tracking), coming soon
  • Carrier feeds (per appointment), coming soon

Each vendor bills the agent directly. Nest does not mark up integration usage. When an agent leaves Nest, those vendor accounts and contracts stay with the agent.

All product names, logos, and marks, including Salesforce, DocuSign, NIPR, AHIP, and carrier names, belong to their owners and are used only to identify the services an agent connects. Nest and Mule Digital LLC are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or certified by any of them or by any insurer, IMO, or industry association, and no integration implies approval of Nest.

Wordmark

The Nest wordmark is an original SVG primitive - geometric sans-serif letterforms drawn for this project. It is not a licensed typeface; there are no font-licensing terms attached to the wordmark itself.

Body and display typefaces

The interface uses open-license typefaces, all embedded via Next.js's font module:

  • Archivo (Omnibus-Type, SIL Open Font License) - the display voice on the marketing site: every hero headline, section heading, eyebrow, and button.
  • Hanken Grotesk (Alfredo Marco Pradil, SIL Open Font License) - body, UI, the “Nest.” wordmark, and figures (set with tabular numerals) across every marketing page, the app, and the OG image.
  • Geist Mono (Vercel, SIL Open Font License) - the rates terminal only, where the figures are set as a true monospace.
  • Inter Tight (Rasmus Andersson, SIL Open Font License) and Fraunces (Undercase Type, SIL Open Font License) - the logged-in app surface and the optional heading pairing offered to agents building their own published sites.

All are free for commercial use under the SIL Open Font License.

Mascot illustrations and brand color

The Bird, Worm, Egg, Acorn, and Tree mascot illustrations are original artwork created for Nest. Please do not reuse them outside the Nest surface.

The brand palette anchors on Nest blue (#0044FF), ink black (#0A0A0A), honey yellow (#FACC15), and bone (#F4F4F5).

Forward-looking statements

Some copy on this site describes intended functionality rather than a guaranteed roadmap commitment - for example, any feature framed as “coming.” Read those statements as direction, not as a contract. Shipped behavior is whatever the product currently does inside the login.
