Can Nest staff or another organization read my client data?

Accepted Answer

No. Records are scoped to your organization, and a vault row cannot be queried from outside the organization that owns it. Scope is enforced at the data layer, not left to a UI filter, so there is no path to read another organization's records by changing a parameter or guessing an ID. Cross-org reads are not possible by design. It is a structural property of how the tables are keyed, not a setting you turn on.

How is my data encrypted?

Records in the document vault are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Keys are scoped to your organization, not shared across a tenant pool, so the bytes that back one org cannot be read with another org's key. The full statement lives at /legal/disclosures.

Is there a record of who accessed my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. An audit log records every read, write, and share, so there is a trail of who touched what and when. The log is org-scoped like the records it describes. How the data is handled is set out at /legal/terms.

Does Nest sell or aggregate my client data?

Accepted Answer

No. Nest is software, not a data broker. It does not sell client information and does not aggregate data across organizations. Integrations are connectors, not re-sellers. You connect your own Twilio, DocuSign, Google Calendar, and AHIP accounts, and those accounts stay yours.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Contacts, leads, and policies export to CSV whenever you ask, so there is no lock-in on the way out. Your connected accounts and contracts stay with you. The handling of your data after you leave is set out at /legal/disclosures.
